Difficulties Coping...?

I'm trying to stay positive, but it's not working so well...

In August, my cycle was 31 days long with no ovulation, according to fertilityfriend (I have PCOS). My period consisted of 3 days of spotting, 2 days of light flow, and 3 more days of spotting (this is very unusual for me, usually heavy flow at least 2 days).

This month, I ovulated on CD 13 (6 days ago) and started spotting on CD 17 (10 days before my expected period)! The spotting has not gotten worse, but has not gotten any better yet (currently CD 19). It's kind of a rusty color (combo of brown and red) and is a little more than spotting but a little less than light flow.

Should I count this as CD 1 or should I keep it as spotting? Also, do you think there is a chance of pregnancy? As I said above, it's still way to early to test and I'm confused because I don't think I've ever had this short of a cycle!

I haven't taken a HPT yet.
I'm only 6 DPO, CD 19.

Have you seen a doctor recently about all of this spotting? I ask because what you just wrote could've been written almost word for word by my close friend who suffered an early misscarriage. After spotting consistently for 25 days (which started after an oddly light period two weeks prior) she called her doctor, who brought her in and sure enough...misscarriage. She didn't even think she was pregnant, hadn't tested or anything at home due to the spotting.

Oh, and on a positive note.....she conceived just two months after the misscarriage!!

Aside from that........if I were you I would call this mid-cycle spotting and leave it at that until the flow increases. A call to your doctor would be a good idea too...if you haven't already.

Good luck!!!!!!!!!
